I’m Mong-Yah “Max” Hsieh, currently a graduate student in the Master of Entertainment Technology program at Carnegie Mellon University, where I’m learning the secrets of successful entertainment experiences.

I majored in Computer Science in undergrad, and that is where my primary skill is. Aside from the basics like data structure and algorithm, I took courses in Scientific Computing, Virtual Reality, and finally, Game Programming. I’m most comfortable with C, C++, C#, and JavaScript, but I’ve also worked with PHP, Python, and MATLAB as well.

At the ETC, I’ve been making games in Unity for various platforms as a game programmer, including mobile (Android & iOS), browser (WebGL), and VR (HTC Vive). Trailers and gameplay videos are shown below:

Mind Game – Browser Game, Spring 2019
Space County – Android & iOS, Fall 2019
20/20 – HTC Vive – Fall 2019
G-Fore – HTC Vive – Fall 2019
